RS4 3 ss engine speeds t3.0

I have a RS4 3 ss that runs plenty fast with the stock engine, the box says its a 1hp engine. I just got a hpi T3.0 engine which HPI said was a 2.2 hp engine. Will the bigger engine give a higher top speed or will it make it accelerate faster?

Is it worth putting on my RS4?

Bigger does not always equal faster. Usually it just changes the total amount of torque along the RPM range.

The best way to increase speed is to change your gearing setup. However, a too-aggressive gearing can put more stress on your engine... with a larger engine you (usually) have better torque and could run a more aggressive gearing setup without overworking the engine.

Thats sort of what I was thinking, It would only be faster if it has a higher rpm right.
