So I've had my RS4 for a month or so, and after having to replace multiple parts I've run across 2 problems that I can't figure out. The first is that the front and read diff's have started allowing one wheel to turn on its own,I've taken them apart but don't really know what I'm looking for here. The other is that I can't seem to get the engine tuning right, it either idles high or idles so low it dies after a few seconds, or wont even start. Any input is appreciated.

if i remember correctly the diffs are designed as open diffs. maybe try start back from stock settings on the carb and work from there as far as the tuning.

As for the engine problems you are having try these things
1.Replace the glowplug
2.Set the engine back to factory settings
3.Make sure you are using good fuel
4.Check the fuel tubing for small holes
Let us know how you make out

Also here is a link to the manual online http://www.hpiracing.com/instructions/

An open diff should never allow one wheel to spin without something else spinning. Only a broken diff will do that.

Spin one wheel with an open diff and either the output shaft will spin or the wheel on the other side will spin in the opposite direction.

I own a HPI .18 engine, and if it is not sealed right tuning it can be a pain, so untill you can have the time to check if it is sealed correctly. I would reccommend running close to factory settings
