Would this be ok or would it cause any problems? My mast gets pretty beat up and I have even cut an antenna off on my RS4 ss when it slid about 30 feet upside down.

I think my truck would look a little better without the big antenna sticking out of the top.

Has anyone done this? Any tips?

You know what I did? course not LMAO anyways

I took a very thick peice of Weedeater plastic. The kind that's very stiff. To stiff to put in a spool. Anyhow it's solid but a lot more flexible than antenna tubing I wrap the antenna around the outside of that, and electrical tape the top.

It stands vertical but when you flip on your lid it bends instead of becoming a wire cutter.

I cut the outer tubing, and then i took the wire and wrapped it around the antenna going back down the outer tubing. Then i took a small peice of tape and put it on the outer tubing to hold down the wire. Just a couple of small peices. Then i found a way to mount it within the body. Like a piece of tape to the roll bar. Works great.

Antenna

I broke mine about 20 minutes after I broke in the engine on my Savage 25, so I wrapped the antenna around the front body mount posts, and the roll bar. And it has not effected performance, range, or anything else. :fro:
