Round 1 of SDC NY Region

16 people showed up to round 1 for SDC, NY region. Everyone qualified.
I had my battle, I lost but the guy I lost to went on to win round 1 so that made me feel much better as I was pretty bummed. I felt I did very well considering it’s my second comp ever and I’ve never ran on Jtile before. I’m happy I saw my progress and didn’t spin out like the my first comp.
I truly am thankful to be able to participate in this event and am grateful for all the people that helped me get to where I am now. The first place winner took the time to sit with me after the comp and help me tune my car better. I am confident I will do MUCH better in round 2 on April 4th.

Thank you! I’m definitely excited. There’s 6 rounds in total. So I have plenty of time to keep improving and up my skills!

Thank you! RC drifting is definitely tricky and not much margin for error in comps. I really appreciate it, the whole goal is to get better and make as much progress as possible! Very happy to see progress within myself.
