well I was not hapy with the way the stock throttle linkage was set up on my RS4 3 Evo so I used a different set up. Basically the stock linkage kept popping off since it was moving on angle to open and close the carb. I just used a longer servo arm and a slide carb linkage set. It definitely puts the throttle linkage at a much straighter angle. The stock set up was weak and used two servo arms, one on top of the other with the metal spring between them. The new set up just uses one longer servo arm with a spring on the linkage so there is no pull back on the throttle when the brakes are applied.
This set up has probably been used on other rotary carbs, but it's my first time doing so on my RS4 3 Evo.

i like that. how do you use only one servo horn for both the throttle and brake? the thing keeps slipping on mine that why i want to use one how did you do it? i tried to use a single servo horn and it was too short and it wouldnt go WOT.

Here is how I used a different servo arm.

You will need like the following parts including the servo arm which I had as a spare from my Savage which is used on the Savage brakes.

Pivot from the Duratrax linkage (can also use the other parts in this set) http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXTU29&P=7

or the HPI Pivot http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/WTI0095P?FVSEARCH=a898&FVPROFIL=++

You could have also loosened the nut holding the carb, then repositioned it so it's more in line with the movement of the servo. That's what I had to do in order to keep my linkage from popping off and also releive stress on the plastic arm of the rotary carb.

This is true, but on the T-15 stock engine on my RS4 3 Evo.....you can only reposition the carb to a very small amount. The linkage I used was still needed.
