Hi i was looking for a rollcage for my maxx, i noticed that there is one on tower but thats not really what i want i was thinking of a bar or a full cage. Basically anything that will protect my head cuz its already messed up . I was thinking if i got a full body cage then i wouldnt run it w/ ma body at all.

Sorry if there was already a thread about this.

Check out RC-Solutions.com they have there own forum on here.

For that price i think i might just want a 3 point roll bar.Plus dont think my parents would let me buy that, their already pissed at how much iv put into this hobby. haha o well. is there any where i can find a roll bar?

New Era makes a 3 point roll bar for the maxx it real good but still does not give full protection to your head. I have one on my maxx the head is still damage but not as much as it would without it. But if you could i would strongly suggest getting the RC-SOLUTIONS roll cage i just ordered on for my Savage after demolishing the head and cracking the block in 2 places.

Could i get a site for the new era one please just to look, i think i will probably get the rc solutions one though . Oh would there be any where i could get the rc solutions one cheaper if not thats ok. thanks for the help.

Go big or don't go at all looks pretty cheap to me. But if your on a limited budget go for it.

Fisherman, check the Horizon web site, they sell RC Solutions at a discount. A lot of it is back ordered, but not everything.

looks very cheaply made and looks lil it will easily bend/break. It also is not a full rollcage it doesn't look like itll protect the head for poop, if you want to see a FULL roll cage check out the RC-Solutions on it creats a shell around what yopu put it on it fully encloses everything.

That era ones cool but for that price i think ill spend a little bit more and get the rc-solutions one.thanks

whats golden horizons site?sorry dont know the sites.

Horizon Hobby distributor, one of the 3 main distributors of r/c stuff. I searched for all RC Solutions stuff
here.

Tmaxx cage kits are $94.00.

RC Raven has some great cages!

Well the kid obviously is on a budget so thats why i posted it, I have one and it has held up great. It has only bent once and thats becuase i did a ~40mph nose dive from about 7ft in the air. Bent it back and it works fine now. PLus with a lifetime warranty you kno they aren't built too badly...

I don't know man, I had one like that and it was more of a false sense of security than anything. A bad roll or roof landing bends it all to hell. I've since installed the new era 3-point. That thing can take one hell of a beating.

I bent it recently, but if it was pretty much anything else, it wouldn't be bent, it would be destroyed. I took a WOT hit on the lip of a deck. The lip was just high enough to clear my bumper, so the only thing that hit was the curve of the roll bar as it goes over the shocktower. Nothing broke, but it did bend about 1/2". I'll bend it back next time I need to take it off.

It's to bad that they don't make one that connects to the rear of the truck as well... Man, I need a welder!
