Roll Cages

I purchased one when they first came out. I'm not sure if they fixed certain quirks since then. If you have a Roto-Start, you'll have to grind a notch in the rear bracket to work. The cage isn't wide enough to fit a New Era tank guard, so you'll have to grind the tank guard in order to fit (I have billet TVP's so that might account for not enough room) . It's probably a problem with most roll cages, the brackets that hold them on bend when taking a direct hit on the cage. Now these are pretty good size hits though, probably 10+ foot drops on the front or rear of the cage. They do take a beating but I stopped using mine since the brackets were so badly bent. Good luck.

that looks like it doesn't have a lot of support onto the savage. theres only two mounting points and if you take a land ontop of that looks like the mounting points will just snap. i say go with the rc-solutions roll cage as it has multiple mounting points. thats what i have and i love it.

can you use the aluminum tank guard with that cage ? the gas tank seems to be the only part thats not really protected with the RC solutions one. also hows the access to the glowplug and rotostart?

there is plenty of room for the tank guard with the cage on. I'm not really sure about the rotostart access on the count a i dont got the rotostart but there isnt anything blocking the way so it should be the same. the glow plug is pretty much the same just you have to use only one finger to put the ignitor on( at least i had to) so it has pretty much the same amount of access as before but just with more protection.
