Hey, Just wondering if anybody has a sugestion for a roll cage. Whats a good one? Id like to still be able to put the body on as well. I think the body is a good idea to keep mud and debri out. I looked at rc solutions and it doesn't look like you can still fit the body on and if you modify it to make the body fit it looks rediculously tall so any more good links?:) Ohh and chassis braces. Is there a certan brand that I'm supposed to stay away from too? I think its integy I'm supposed to stay away from right? I'm looking to stiffen the truck up to make it slightly more crash proof. Thanks for your time.

+1 to that!
RC Solutions make very good roll cages.
Not sure where to get chassis braces, but your Maxx will be indestructable after purchasing both items.

What about the new era roll bar? Any good?

I really liked their old 3-point one, but the new one they make is even better. I'd go that route. Never bent mine and it landed hard countless times.

Cages are designed to avoid damage to what they are protecting, but they will bend easily if they take a blow from a side/rear impact. RC Solutions especially. Folded mine up like a pretzel from a rear landing. It did it's job, but it was garbage afterwards. $110 spent elsewhere would be better IMHO.

i got this one, its heavy, and you can only use it on the stock body, but its cheap! you can take so much beating with this. I've never had one bent, I've never heard or seen one bent. but their heavy. i didnt buy it from this guy, but its the same model i bought. http://cgi.ebay.com/t-maxx-heavy-duty-rollcage_W0QQitemZ220372128414QQcmdZViewItemQQptZRadio_Control_Parts_Accessories?hash=item220372128414&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318|301%3A1|293%3A1|294%3A50

Really? I've had one similar for the t-maxx and savage. Both bent pretty easily when landing on the roof or on the tail. They do bend back though and absorb almost all of the impact when they do bend. So basically, they do their job. I just didn't like working around them.
