i was just wonderin should i get a roll cage. weight really aint a issue because i am just a basher. i want to get the rc raven cage but i was just wonderin what yall thought.

If you're getting the cage for the 4908 extended version than its way overpriced compared to the 4909/4910 models...I made my own quick and easy rollbar with some scrap supports, a little heat with a mapp gas torch to coax the bends and a 110volt migwelder to join the 2 halves... The designs very effective and also helps right the truck instantly alot and makes a great carrying handle..

my truck is the old 2.5 t-maxx classic. i have heard people say they are a waste of money but i dont plan on racin mine anytime soon. the rc raven one only weighs 12 ounces so it aint heavy.

I like the Hard Bodyz design. They attach to the stock bumper supports so impacts to the cage transfer to the plastic bumper supports which will in turn absorb quite a bit of energy.
