I was wondering if anybody knew what the difference was between p2 and p3 rockers? and what situations warant what rockers? thanks.

The difference is in the 'progressive rate'. The suspension gets harder to compress as it gets closer to bottoming out. I don't know which is which, but there are three different rates.....progressive 1,2,3. Also you have the long travel rockers, with no progressive rate at all.

LT = no progression, completely linear force required throughout movement
P1 = minimal progression throughout movement
P2 = medium progression throughout movement
P3 = most progression throughout movement

LT's are used for crawling when the most articulation is needed. Many swear by them for big air setups as well.
P1's are used for general bashing.
P2's are used for racing a lot and work well for bashing.
P3's require different push rods. They are generally used for pavement or flat track racing. Makes the suspension become quite a bit more rigid as the shocks compress.

I didn't try the LT's ever when I had a revo. Tried P1-3 and never was happy with the air I couldn't hit without slapping the chassis so hard the engine bay would bend. P3's were pretty much un-drivable in a rough environment (moto-cross track I tried at... was horrible). All in all, P2's seemed to work best out of the 3 for me. Still too soft even with hard springs and high oil rate. Think I used silver springs with 60-80 weight oil... 80 made it bouncy and hard to drive. 60 made it bottom out pretty hard with a 5 foot drop.

I think I expected too much out of mine when I had it... Got rid of it and kind of regretted it ever since. Didn't think about how nice it was to have a pretty trouble free rig that ran using a SB engine. Picking up a used slayer... so I'll have a revo style rig again soon. ;)

thanks guys for the info.Well the reason i ask is i have a brand new revo 5309,i bought rpm arms and true tracs and red turnbuckles. all installed. i also have the red pushrods but i got the ones that are used with the p3 rockers. i didnt realize it untill they got here. do they make the red pushrods for p2 rockers? where could i find them. i have the red pushrods for my older version of the 5309,can i use the same ones for the new version? thanks for all your help guys,i am trying to upgrade the new revo before i break it in.i have the sway bar kit i am putting on today.
