Looks interesting, but yeah...have to agree it's kind of weird...maybe not ugly, but definitely weird. Robitronics always does that though, most of their vehicles have this cartoonish look to them. They seem to be decent vehicles but parts support is really lacking in most places, leaving you to order parts online.

If you watch the baja race there are some trucks that look like this but for the most part they look like the hpi blitz
