Robinson slipper clutch

I just in stalled this clutch on my truck and it is slow taking off and will not shift in to second gear ”very slow top speed”. I tightened the nut just how the instructions said to. The engine seams to be running just fine. The LSN pinch test was exactly 5 seconds to shut off.

Any help appreciated..

honestly it sounds like a tuning problem
the slipper wouldnt have any thing to do with the engines performance ,it would either rev really high due to slipping too much or just go ,
dbl check your high speed needle setting and try it once ,

Ok thanks, will try it. Maybe I got it to rich as I have fear of running to lean and frying the motor,will have a temp gaudge here in a few days to help the tuning
