Hello all,

We are looking forward to helping your racing program this year. We have volunteers throughout the region ready to assist you with anything you may need to coordinate, advertise, schedule, obtain handouts, and produce events. Whether your races are ROAR sanctioned or not, whether your facility is ROAR Affiliated or not, whether your racers are ROAR members or not, we are here to help you. Please do not hesitate to contact ROAR to help make your racing program and racing facility the best that it can be.

You can find out more about ROAR here: http://www.roarracing.com/toplevel/about.htm
You can find out how to become an ROAR Affiliate Club here: http://www.roarracing.com/join/index.htm

In sanctioned racing there are a few different levels:
Level 1: This is the typical club race, point’s series, etc.
Level 2: These are races that carry the name such as State Championship, Northeast Championships, etc.
Level 3: These are the races that carry the name Regional Championship. This is the highest level in the Region.
Level 4: These are the National Championship races. Applications for these races for 2005 are due by July 31. If you are interested in this level, please contact me as soon as possible so that we can start the process as that you can be considered along with the other tracks around the country.

If you are interested in hosting a ROAR Sanctioned event, please complete the form found at http://members.bellatlantic.net\~vze28fq4/roar/bidrequest.pdf and return it to my attention as soon as you can, by 12/31/03. The 2004 season is only a few weeks away and we need to have the schedule finalized as just as soon as we can. We would like to include your facility in the schedule. To host a level 1, 2, 3 or 4 race your facility will have to be a Club Affiliate and the racers must be ROAR members.

Please complete the attached form with which classes you would like to host as well as the dates with some alternates. If there are classes not listed that you would like to host, please write them in the provisional section and we will work on a rule group and classifications.

Please note that the facility does not need to be an Affiliate to request a date, however must be before the event is awarded.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. We will work with you to help make all your events successful.

Regards,
Chris Raffaelli

Nice! Thanks for the info Chris and welcome to RCNT! I for one am signing up.

i have a suggestion that maybe you can give to them. i really think that they NEED to have an online member signup. I know that a lot of people don't like using the mail.

I agree. The Ex Com members are working on it, have been for a few months now.
