I was into BMX as a teen and those days aren't about to make a comeback for various reasons. Fear being one of them. LOL
I'm on the fence about getting a dedicated road bike. The 25 mile ride just got me thinking about it. The MTB I use for road riding is fine for the distance I usually ride.
I use a 2000 Schwinn Rocket 88 Stage 3 full suspension that belonged to my dad for on road use. My dad only used it to tour around town so it looks brand new. I want to keep it that way so I won't take it off road. From comparing the specs of a stock 88 and what is on it now, it looks like he poured quite a chunk of change and upgraded the majority of the components.

The bike I use for the dirt is a 2001 K2 Razorback 3.0 full suspension. Stock except for the seat.
