Anybody know where I can get ringtones for verizon that are not so pricey? Verizon charges an arm and leg!

I used to just make my own from MP3s or downloading them from CrackBerry.com - here lately I've just been using whatever came on the phone.

Just download some free sound editing software and make your own; that's what I did.

Otherwise, Phonezoo.com is a pretty good site.

I got this about a year ago. HUNDREDS of ring tones, on the CD, plus the ability to clip your own. comes with the USB cable. Also allows you to back up everything on your phone so you can do a quick transfer to a new one, from your computer.
I think it was about $20. Just make sure you get the one that's made for your model phone.
A GREAT deal.

I'm a do-it-yourself kind of guy. I use Audacity to edit songs that I want to use. I believe you'll also need an MP3 converter to use with that. Audacity uses RazorLame which works just fine. You'll also probably need some sort of software to communicate with your phone. I have an LG Dare and use BitPim to open the phone's file system and install the tones.

Thanks guys. Candyman I also have a dare and have bitPim. Works like a dream!

Looks like I'll have to get a sound editing program...
