Ok,
As you all know i WAS going to sell savage....However....tragic events like today have happened and i am forced to keep. After installing my new pullstart and a brand new plug she was running strong.....I decided to go ahead and get rid of the richness and lean it out a little....anyways, a SUV came down the road so i stopped and went up the curb...ANyways, i have a jump that jumps over my driveway and i was coming back from the curb to my jump annd i was in 2nd gear, just the jump, when i see my sisters friends red Honda pilot suv in our driveway RIGHT in between the take off and landing......I hit the suv in the upper middle window and put a crack in it......and the savage...ahhhh....The front shock tower twisted and snapped, the 2 silver chassis bent out, the front 2 shocks bent in like a v shape, the drive shaft got bent in a v and fell out, the front skid plate clip in is messed up......and last but not least.... i cracked the left front rim....man today sucked.

"Always look before you leap".

And if you think the repairs on the Savage are expensive, just wait until you get the bill for that window on the Honda....

i am with candyman i wouldnt be worring about the savage right now, just on how u are going to pay for that window!!!

Did it look something like this???
At least I didn't hit anything valuable, this was from landing it from about 15 feet high. Obviously it was head first!

well luckily the window i am not having to pay for because it does not leak and is minor. I offered to pay and she said by the looks of my truck it needed some work to and that she would call it even. As far as the pic you posted, mine looks almost the exact same except for my front 2 shocks bent and i completely runined my stock body: the body post mounts ripped through the body!.

i say its her fault for parking between your ramps ... make her pay for the savage (wouldnt that be a sweet deal) ...

tough brake on that one ... sorry

My friend did that to his. It wasn't as bad, but they were bent.

Wow. So how much you think it will end up costing to fix? (The Savage that is)

I just took it apart and hammerred the plates flat again. Good as new!

my luck my truck would have broken through the window and landed right on the nice seats and nitro would have gotten all over them!!!!

bryan

Mine would have been it broke not just one window but came out the other while the glass broke the fuel tank and a full tank of nitro spilled out. Then my car would be irreparable and I would have to buy a new one just my hobby shop would not have it and stock and the store they buy it from has it on back order and I am out of money and out of nitro because I have to pay for the interior and the two windows.
