Ride height. Hey guys on my revo i am tryin to get a little taller ride height. At full extended height it is 2 1/4 to the skids, after comperession and at the ride height i am at now is 1 1/4. How can i get my ride height a little taller. I have the traxxas aluminum pushrods. P2 rockers and black springs in the rear, cranked up maybe 3/4 of the threads and i believe the green in the front. Maybe its normal but seems like alot of waisted suspension.Oh and i believe i have the pushrods in the closest hole to the chassi, which i believe is the highest for height. Whats ur take on this?

That's about as high as your going to get. If the spring compress's when it sits then either more preload or stiffer springs.

They may be long travel but doesn't mean you can't use them to stiffen up and increase ride hight on the p2's I have te preload maybe 1/5. But iv tried setting mine up for jumps etc cuz I'm sick of it bottoming out and or flipping

first of all can i use the rpm long rod ends on the red aluminum push rods? And if yes would they give me a little more height? Any idea?

I'm using the standard springs on mine, Orange front, & Blue rear. I tried to use the black on the rear but. it was too stiff on'em rod end's push rod, it wears them out too quick for me to replace. not sure if you can tell by looking at the pics but, these is how they sit. & not much of a rear squating when punchin the gas &, more control on wheelie rides w/out it flippin. I also have more control & feel, when taking of ramps & landing with a bit softer suspensions, compare to stiffer ones. now, if I can only do a triple flips in air, I'd be doing good. All stunts I do is use with the combinations of what you see on pictures, I'm still trying to get the BOW TIE with BL to do the same, hoping one day tho. Hope these helps some but I'm sure you are more experienced than I am, I'm still bashing to learn more tricks from great folks here, & enjoying it as well. See pics below.

Just keep in mind what ride height actually is. The height of the chassis off the ground under compression has nothing to do with ride height. To increase ride height you simply add preload to your shocks. Just keep in mind that if you are riding at nearly maximum suspension extension the truck will have a tendency to be bouncy over bumps because there is little upward movement to absorb it

If u look at the pics above, the a arms have a little angle to them. Thats what I'm kinda lookin for. My A arms after bottoming it out and letting it rebound naturally are pretty much level. Mine only looks like that if i extend the susp and let it sit there like that. And i have black springs cranked up about 3/4s in the rear.
