REVS up & throttles but it won't move foward an inch?!

everything seems to be connected ...it was running good then i turned it off went to the park and it would rev up but wouldn't actually go! whats goin on?

Sound like a clutch problem

in order to determine the problem.. we need a few facts about your savage....

1. New or old
2. Reverse mod installed
3. Kit or RTR
4. What have you done...


if it is old then shoes might of worn off
check your clutch bell too... I've torn off my clutch bell just recently
check your center shaft
check your cup joint... if you installed an aftermarke engine, those then to wear quicker
check the Ballbearings in the clutch bell too

if you installed a reverse mod, try switching gears fwd/bw, if it goes in reverse then you need to set your foward trim

if it is a kit something might of come loose/even for a RTR
check the springs on the clutch shoes

One more thing to check are the hexes inside the wheels. They could be stripped out.

another thing make sure the clutchbell is actually in contact with the gear!:thumbup: i did the same thing once and came to find out my engine had moved a little bit and just reved.

I've also had the one way in the trans cause the same problem

Stripped spur gear? Can you roll the truck? Check for any binds from the dogbones... Kinda need more information.
