having trouble with my 3 .3 revo after a high speed pass when i let off the gas the engine dies.truck is new and has about a half gallon through it. anyone know what might be wrong? also has anyone tried the ths pipe on the 3.3 engine?

Look at your fuel line coming from the tank. If you see gaps in the fuel you have an air leak. That is where I would start. Let us know if that isn't the issue and we will go from there. How is the tune? Good amount of smoke on take-off? What is the engine temp when it is warmed up?

As for the pipe--that is for someone else to help you with...

The ths pipe works wonders on a 3.3. You wouldn't believe the difference. I have the hard coated one.

Your other problem could be a number of things. Sounds like your lsn is set wrong and possibly the idle too. You could also be running a bit hot on an engine that is getting worn. Could be the glow plug is getting bad, could be starving for fuel........

Ok the engine probably isn't worn after half a gallon, but the crank bearings could be shot. Does the engine sound funny? Take off the head. Are there little bits of metal stuck on the piston?

Just got through riching lsn and seems like things are getting better ordered a ths pipe and can't wait for it to get here. Thanks for your help

The fact that you are needing to fatten things up makes me think all-the-more that you need to look for an air leak. The leak will lean you out. If you simply richen up the tune you are masking the issue. JMHO. I would still check things out. Especially since fattening up the LSH will have no effect on the rig's tune at full throttle. Again, it is just masking your problem.
