Its been awhile since I have posted anything about my revo so I thought I would post a few updates as I tore it down for maintenance this weekend. Since I got my XL I decided to convert the revo into more of a truggy style truck and not a monster truck. I removed the trenchers and the rc-solutions cage and retuned all of the suspension setup.
Here it is before as a monster truck:
And now as a truggy type truck:
with the lid off:
And my favorite thing about the revo is how fast it can be disassembled for cleaning and repair. This shot was taken after 10 minutes worth of disassembly time:
Some of you may remeber the problem I was having with shock ends and rod ends breaking. Well I think the RPM rod ends have solved my problem! I have a little over 2 gallons of extreme abuse on this truck since switching to the RPM ends and they still look just like new. Not a single one of them is stretched, bent, broke or worn out.
