revo transmission problems

I strip a gear in the transmission so i replaced it and put it back together. The clutch bell on the motor was goin bad so i changed it. Now when the truck is in fowrard and u roll it backward the slipper clutch and gear on the clutch bell spin but not the motor so i feel the clutch bell is workin on the motor. But the transmission has a whine to it when u roll it. If you put it in revesre and push the truck foward the same thing happens. I'm new to all this but i dont remeber it doin this before. Any help will be greatly appreciated. :\

Did you get your mesh too tight? I'd loosen up the mesh so the bell doesn't contact the spur, then roll it and see if your noise persists.

is the engine running when you do this?
if not the engine will not turn because the clutch is not engaged , to engage clutch the engine has to be running and have RPM's above idle..

This might be a stupid question but what you mean by mesh to tight? And this is with the engine off. when i crank it and drive it it seems to run fine and shift good it just still has that lil noise in transmission. But it does seem to be a lil sluggish when you start off.
