can anybody help me out with comverting my 2.5 revo to a single steering servo new to all this bear with me i have an older 2.5 revo but it works back to the servo also would like a waterproof :\
Find a waterproof servo in your price range. Look for something around 150 to 200 oz of torque. Hitech, JR... Some other folks will jump in with some more specific choices. What ever you look at, post it on here for some feed back.

If you're like me you won't wanna drop 89 bucks on a servo. I use a single futaba s3305, it's borderline on torque @124 oz./in, but it has a ball bearing output and it does an excellent job. For only 35 bucks, you can't go wrong. Depends on how serious you are I guess.
Hey scrogg, is that servo sealed up with o-rings? I didn't see any mention of it being water resistant or dustproof. Usually, ones that are tell you something about it.
If not, the Hitec 985MG is a great servo for the revo. It's sealed up pretty good with o-rings, but I still took the bottom off and worked RTV into the wires through the little grommet in the case. I also put a light coat of RTV around the grommet. Been running that servo for the better part of 2-3 years, summer and winter as a steering servo on the revo and now as a throttle/brake servo on my savage. It's always nice to have a internally sealed servo as your t/b servo since they almost always stand straight up to let water in.
