revo spur fit tmaxx?

You could put it on, but it's the wrong pitch (mod 1.0) and the wrong tooth count 36-40. The newer maxx is mod .8 and anywhere from 54-58 teeth usually.

Let me explain more, I swapping out the stock 3.3 and putting in a Picco.26. I searched past threads, and most say 18/36 is a good ratio especially with larger tires. So in additional to the motor I was going to upgrade the spur and CB with steel (probably Robinson racing or similar)

18/36 is commonly used on the Revo and not the Tmaxx.

You will not have sufficient room to set the mesh between the spur and clutch bell unless you modify the engine mounting slots in the chassis using 18/36 on the TMaxx.

Robinson racing sells steel spurs and bells to fit the Tmaxx, however steel spurs are not needed or recommended.

If you have a 3.3 T-Maxx and you also use a Revo bell gear then yes it will work. But straight using a T-Maxx bell with a Revo Spur....not so well.

First thanks guys, I appreciate your input and guidance.
I found this at Amain. It states that it is for the Tmaxx. When the Picco is mounted with the Ofna mount, does the output shaft rest in the same position as stock, Or is this where gets tricky with clearance issues?

Also I think this ratio will lean towards top end instead of accelaeration, whicj is ok for me I think, I tend to run in large open areas with long straights.

18/38 is a good ratio for the picco 26, but like snook man said, it won't work. You need t-maxx gears (.8 pitch or 32 pitch), either 24/54 or 24/58 etc.....and that's with the grey 'revo spec' trans on a newer 4908/4907 maxx.

18/38 is a 2.11:1 ratio.
24/54 is a 2.25:1 ratio.
With big tires a 2.25:1 is about right.
