Ah, that's for the 4.6 Savage X.
Here's the original and the Alloy case. The original dropped into the Humm-Vee. It's the stock 2 speed and didn't need reverse since it's coupled to a brushless drive and is reversible with the controller because it's electric. Same reason it didn't need the brake pads and they were moved to the alloy trans.

Sweet, now I know, I will sort out a gearbox.
I also have an experiment up my sleeve that could lead to a lot of fun, I just have to wait a week to get my mitts on the bits...
