OK, first up I have a question.

Now, I may have dreamt it but I am not sure.

When I first started working on my revo upgrade project, I seem to remember something about a 3 speed gearbox. Didi I dream it, or is it possible?

next up, I need some advice and again, this goes back to the revo project.

When I first started the build, I made a list of companies that supply or supplied parts to suit the revo.

Does anyone know of any I have missed from the following, as I have had to trawl through endless notes and paperwork as well as net searches just to find these...

Hot Racing
Robinson Racing
RPM
GH Racing
Proline
3Racing
Hardcore Racing
Tekno
Yeah! Racing
ST Racing
HPI (wheels)
THS Racing
GS Racing
Acer Racing (bearings)
GPM Racing
RD Logics (bump box)
RC Soltions (roll cage)

what/who have I missed?

The 3 speed is possible but it Is a LOT of work and fab to do it right,..somewhere on here there is a thread about it on a t-maxx that one of our members did....

Parts list looks pretty good, and I'm glad you didn't add integy to that list, lol

Add RPM to your list. They make the best arms for the Revo IMO.

3rd one down there hamz

Should really add rpm to the list though

Cheers Guys ;)

@hotrodrob...

Please dont swear! this build is an inter-whats-it free zone!

just need to find an alloy outer diff case and gearbox case now.......

evay for nitro revo alloy gearbox case? yes, but no joy. Only finding e-revo inter-crap 'box cases.

Also not seeing natural alloy outer diff cases :(

thats so wierd.... I heard that from a BMX group earlier, but no mention of WHAT oven cleaner.........

I saw what he said and you're right, this is an Integy free zone. :)
I'm not sure about the Revo, but I have a 3 speed with reverse inside an alloy case in the Bling Thing, but that's a Savage.

Let me see if I can find another pic. It's the giant Humm-Vee with the hand built chassis, Revo suspension and the Savage 2 speed trans with brushless power. You can make ANYTHING work.

hmmmmmmm!

liking the idea more and more. Time to invest in a loss leader plastic savvy 'box.

The trans case is all you'll need to figure out how to make it fit. Later, if you go with the 3 speed, it all fits in the same case. In my Savvy I also added a taller 3rd gear. As I recall, the reverse module went into the case without any modifications other than a shift servo.
The trans in the Humm-Vee is the stock trans that came with my Savage when I bought it. I had it laying around so I put it to use.
The trannys and/or gears are all over ebay when you need them.

Thanks Rolex, an interesting option that can be looked into for next to no outlay.... Definitely something I will be looking at.

Quick question though. What model Savvy is that 'box from??
