Man I ran 6 heats and two mains(thats one hour of racing) + 2 tanks in practice and never had a glitch.Thats probably over 100 laps on the local track at the Hut.I broke a t-Maxx in half in a matter of minutes and crippled another when I ran them at the track just for fun.The Revo has proven itself to me.It is one tuff truck! Did I mention the 2 hour long 2 man,2 truck per team race were each driver raced his own truck for an hour.We took second place and yes two other Revos took home 1st.I bet the slayer is going to be a tuff truck also being that is based on the Revo chassis.

I think you're right C.C., on the track I'd say it's the best all around racing MT (IMO). I'd say the Savage is a better basher by far, but then again the Revo is advertised as a 'racer'.

I've got a revo and a maxx. The Revo has survived everything I've thrown at it, from smashing curbs and what should has been a drowning today. The maxx barely scuffed the sidewall of the tire against a tree and off came the wheel.....

Not to put down the All mighty T Maxx but it is a dated design that has been improved on by Traxxas with the do it all well Revo.T Maxx's are still way cool!

It would have been nice if traxxas would have done something different with their bulkhead design on the maxx... that's the only really bad spot still IMHO on the new maxx's. Hinge pins should never be supported by plastic alone. Whoever let that thing out 7+ years ago with that design should be shot in the face.

i know what you mean my freind got a revo and it always lands on its wheels its bad azz.by the way I'm down right now due to rear bulkhead brake.

revos rule

got my revo back in april havent had anything that kept me down for more than a day. (due to generous supplies at the LHS) Still all repairs that I have had to make were simple like putting a piviot back in or replacing a spur gear due to a broken engine mount... woops. seriously tho the revo is one bad @$$ little truck and I am so glad that my first serious purchuse in the rc world was a revo
