This has been my toughest used nitro. I’ve fought it. Partly due to the motor having so much power. Partly due to having 5-6 nitro projects going on since December.

Changed some gearing. To 15 tooth. Stock spur counting 38. I was under the impression stock was a 14 tooth bell. Anyways, it’s too much with the torque this motor makes.

I loosened my spur another 4-5 minutes. I’m about 20 minutes off tight, counter clockwise.

Motor is modified 3.3. Grass is thick. Hill is a long pull. But, this thing is a monster. Pulls the front tires off the ground in second on any surface.

Running it rich due to the grass, hills, and heat. But, it’s still a screamer.

That thing rips! You said it's modified, what have you done to it? Port tuning? Crank grind? Yes, yes and more? 😉

Hearing how yours shifts out of first so soon, I wonder if mine is forever in second. 🤔

Thanks again for posting that ripper!

It’s a complete mod. Rod, crank, porting work, carb is an os11k but, he modifies it to. Stock or JW carb as well.

Underdog RC Racing. Look him up on Facebook. He gets them right. Affordable too.

Tune is why mine switches that quick. Maximizing horse power is the name of that game to me. 😁
