just thought i would let the world no I've bought front and rear lower arms from integy.they are brilliant much better than stock they have 6 different shock holes instead of 3 and fit spot on.I've also got a tank guard,front rear and gearbox guard by 3GRACING which are all perfect fit to also got a roll bar of ebay but dont no the make its blue and made out of hollow steel tube.got the normal stuff to like moter saver air filter and fail safe(not fitted yet )had 1 problem from new with the revo it dont start with the blue wire on the glow plug i have to take it off and use normal glow starter then it fires straight the way,outher than that it a great truck i think its better than a savage (i have one which is hopped up 2 the max with a wasp .28)

just found out the roll cage is by NEW ERA

I own two Revo's and am looking at buying a used Savage w/ a Orion .28. Any advice on it?

Guy wants $375.00 Shipped. I thought that was kind of Pricey, not knowing what "actual" condition it is in.

Has the seller got any pictures of the savage so that you can see it? Any seller will tell you that the engine has been broken in by the book and it has had light use, but more than likely it will have been well used. Also, I suggest you enquire what hop-ups the savage has had -the spider diff mod you can't see whether it has been fitted as it is in the diff so be careful that what the seller says is genuine.
My honest opinion- I would not buy a savage as it is old in its design compared to the Revo's modern technology. hope this helps.
