ok i sorta have a problem dont know what i should do.

first off i have a revo 2.5 looking to put a picco .28 in it with pull start
and i have a trinity pipe kit for revo's new in box.

what i need to know is what kinda mount kit do i need and will that pipe work with it. and were do i get it at.

you answered your own question with the link. but i might add the 3.3 chassis if i were u.and a centerdiff FOC if you dont allready have it.
 
center diff, foc, rear brake, a differant pipe other then the trinity, such as the RB pipe, Also look into new era's header for the revo

also check out the 3a racing extended chassis for the revo, and your also going to need the revo 3.3 tranny case to do the rear brake which is needed if u run a center diff

The conversion works fine, I have one in a drawer. I ran a side pipe when I had a BB in my revo. The duratrax header does a nice job for the alignment. You have to butcher the body a bit, but then you don't have to worry about rear landings smashing your pipe between the rear shock tower and engine.

i found a traxxas BB kit my brother had gotten me and took the header out cuz he didnt need. and it is just the right size wont rub or hit anything.

I'm new the the BB's iv had this picco 28 and os 30 vg just sitting here for about 8 months wishing one was in my car.

i took out my os 18tmw/pullstart put it in my tmax. so good there lol.

250cc gas tank.
for bb upgrade?

also i took my revo to lhs and they messed up my Toe and camber. now dam truck dont wanna drive worth crap. sorry for my potty mouth. i have a rpm monster camber checker comming from tower hobbies. so hope i can get that down.

ill never let a lhs work on my truck again.worthless.

o ya baby power i got my new era BB kit today here are some pic's
also you will see my getto fix on my boby mout for now. i had to take off my rc rollcage so this monster would fit were rear pipe. so next month I'm getting new mount and tekno wing. muhaha I'm so happy lol. been over 8 months in the waiting. thanks for all the input about the part. and upgrades. next month I'm gonna get a duratrax header cuz i have a tuned losi pipe. here then put my cage back on after i grind it down and paint it. so ill be posting alot more pic's in the months to come

that engine is a monster!! good work. nice clean install...

i can't help but notice... are you still using the stock 2 servo steering setup? and, uhhhh, why? especially with that beast you have in there now... you're going to need something a little more substantial!

iv gone broke working on my trashed tmax and duratrax.

so now that there all working time to just mess with revo
 
ok well that sucked i took out my revo to start breaking in p3 28.
and after almost 3 tanks. i stoped the truck. made some ajustments to the shocks. and tryed to start it again. and the dam pull starter seemed to not be working that well. at a 9in pull engine only turned over. once. took out the plug and pulled it again and the engine turned over just fine . so i put the plug in and same thing as befor happend . turned over about once..

i took out the engine took off the pull starter. nothing looked wrong took off the back plate and looked at the one way bearing noting wrong with it.

right now I'm at a very big loss as to what is going on the flywheel and bell clutch is all good so. i really am pissed.

the engine can't start if it can't turn over dam what do i do.

right now i put my os30vg in it but i really really wanna get my p3 in the truck. any input would be nice.

on the p3 the one way bearing is inside the crank case and can only go on one way. but ill take it out and clean it really well. thanks for the info. you guys have been a big help
 
Make sure you always use ARO with that engine. I've found that engines with an internal OWB require a more stringent ARO regimen. It helps keep the oil from the fuel from turning into goo which keep the needle bearings from moving as they should.
 
i just cleaned the shaft and bearing but seems to be that my pull starter is fryed .I'm gonna go with a ofna Torque Start.

iv been doing alot of reading about the p3 28 seems to be a big problem with the pull starts. with a thing called coil back . when the engine stops or stalls it puts alot of stress on the pull starters. but that will have to wait for next month short on cash. so looks like I'm gonna be running os30vg. witch i ran today about 2 tanks and its doing great.

i think I'm done with this hobby. go out and run my trucks today and my dura trax decides to get a mind of its own and take off at mach 2 smash into a metal poll bounce off that and take a curb . brakeing it allmost in 2 then keep going into parking lot. under some cars. I'm so fed up . I'm about ready just to pack this crap up and put it in the basement. and forget about it.
