I somehow destroyed one of the u joint things on my revo... one of the shafts is completely gone. :O

i haven't had any problems with the stock drive line so i want to just fix what i broke. is it easier to replace the u joint part or the whole drive shaft?

i know i had hell getting those little things in my rusty.

also does anyone have a stock revo shaft laying around?? the one that goes from the diff to the wheel.

The 'blue boot' is glued at both ends on those shafts. I had one that was torn and had to glue it back (it was a real PITA). They are just like the CDs, 2 pieces (not sure why they are booted). I'd consider just buying a new one, I wouldn't think a whole one costs much more than just one end and you wouldn't have to glue it. I haven't replaced mine yet so I don't have a spare, but I know there are plenty of people here that have.

i looked on tower and they have the half shafts, and the u joints seperate, but none together. i tore it apart and noticed i broke the U part of the shaft that goes through the axle carrier. i guess that is how i lost the part of the u joint. i guess ill have to ebay some axles, i dont think my lhs will have them complete.

i just broke mine and will hopefully be getting cvds by the end of the week so if you want to wait ill give you my three good ones for 10 bucks shipped..as long as i get my cvds
