All you Revo lovers such as myself I need some serious help any ideas would be greatly appreciated I love my revo but hate traxxas motors so I installed a bb kit to put my wasp 28 off my old savage on it and the rotostart is in the way of the rear arm so what can I do other than a bump box or different motor is there an easy fix Please Help

The best thing for you to do is get a direct swap upgrade like the Sirio .27TX kit for Revo...You can still use the flywheel, clutchbell, muffler and ez-starter.It comes with mount and manifold along with engine..The only other alternative would be to try to stick a pullstarter or Tiger Drive on the wasp engine..Good luck

Get a mount that puts the engine up higher like the new era mount:

It's what I ran on mine when I had it with an XTM 24.7:

Still have the mount and wire I made for the throttle I think laying around here... $35 via PP shipped in the US gets it to you if your interested.

New era mount works, but you also have other options.

Get an aftermarket swing arm and a rotostart or a quick start.

Swing arm link: 28 bucks

Quick start link: 10 dollars

One way bearing link for quick start: 10 dollars

Rotostart link with starter: 42 dollars

Wow thanks that sounds like a really good idea already have the roto start but didnt know about the swing arm I was almost tempted to shave my arm down but wasn't sure how much it would weaken it thanks a lot What startsystem are you using in that pic Nice job by the way

Hey Doug can you please email me some pics of your revo so I can get some ideas for mine [email protected] thanks for all the help I knew there had to be an easy fix

New era sells that notched arm as well I believe:
http://www.neweramodels.com/item.cg...i-bin/inccatalog.cgi?session_id=&part_id=2696

Although, it says it won't work with a 28... Yours is really close to rubbing.

Oh, I noticed the hot racing ones you linked too are notched to create an offset to put the wheels back further to give you a bit longer wheel base.

The only downside is that it puts your header right there by the arm on full compression, so it may not be as easy to run a side exhaust. I wanted the side exhaust which is why I didn't mind the new era mount. I was tired of smashing my headers in the stock location with the small block engine in there. What header is that that you have?
