this revo keeps poping up with minor headachs, I'm not the best of drivers so I'm prone to rolling the truck alot, the thing is the antania keeps getting pinched by the ground and roll cage. I'm looking for a way to save the antania or hide it .
I'm hopeing to race it asap . i know it would be more fitting to race without the cage on it , but my sons like to drive the monster too, so it is needed at times .
any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cut a new antenna hole out of the back window area so the antenna is at an angle coming out of the truck. This helps the majority of the time. Best solution is a 2.4 ghz radio. The recieiver antenna is very short and does not protrude out from the truck. Plus you never have to worry about frequency conflicts. AM and FM radios are obselete these days, especially if you race.

i was wondering about the short antenna on the 2.4 if it was the way to go , I have no experiance in raceing. if it doesn't extend above the body then it seems like a winner to me .untill i get the set up ill try relocating at an angle .
Thanks

antanna?

for the wire on the receiver, is there a certain length or resistance that is requiered for the replacement of a broken wire antanna,?would like to fix the thing asap to get the truck running again.
Thanks:beer:

Yes if you can solder good and you have a high quality solder gun with a fine tip. go to Traxxas's website and research the proper length of the antenna wire, this is very crucial for proper operation. the wire is cheap, 5 bucks at the local hobby shop, they may even be able to solder it for you. Put a wanted ad in the BST forum. Lots of guys have AM receivers lying around they have no use for and will mail them to you for next to nothing. I have given away a few myself. Don't have anymore now, sorry. Otherwise I'd hook you up.
