What makes the revo 5309 wider compared to the older revo's? is it arms or the 17mm splined hex?
 
i never seen the original revo ...the arms might be a bit longer ...but i do know that the wheels on the 5309 have 1/2 inch offset ...making it wider
 
The arms are the same on both versions of the 5309 Revo. The original 5309 was the first Revo 3.3.
