Alright well as I'm sure many of us have done I was taking the glow wire out of my revo 3.3 with needle nose pliers and it seemed to be on there pretty good so I had to get a good grip on it. Well the pliers slipped off the wire and ended up ripping it. So I went down to my local hobby shop and bought a new wire and installed the new glow wire into my revo 3.3. Now for some reason when I try to start my revo using the EZ starter, the motor light lights up but the glow plug light only lights up for about a second and then shuts off and the truck won't start. I have no idea what's wrong because I put the new glow wire in correctly without damaging anything. Can anyone on here please provide me with support? All answers appreciated!

I know it's a new wire, but it sounds like a (a) bad connection, or (b) a wand issue. The ez start wands are notorious for glow plug circuit failure. It's best to always have a glow ignitor as back up. If you have one, try it and be sure it's running right. This will help eliminate the issue. As far as checking the wand, try it on someone elses truck. If it works, then you've clearly narrowed the problem down to your wiring. Hope this helps ya.

Often the engine mount screw where the black ezy start earth wire connects comes loose or falls out.

Check you have a good connection their, use blue loctite to prevent it from coming loose again.

My Revo done this.
