revo 3.3 with jato bell

i got a revo 3.3 that has had a jato 3.3 bell put in with a t-max spur gear.
the tranny is shimmed on one side with 2 small plastic washers. the question i have is it bad for the tranny? it seems to be quicker but i dont know what stress is put on the tranny.

Welcome to RCNT.
It shouldn't matter what pitch your gears are, except the M1 revo gears are stronger than .8 pitch. If it seems quicker that's because you've changed the ratio.

thanks! i was the original owner of the revo then sold it to a buddy then bought it back and the tranny exploded in many pieces. i bought a new tranny and was worried of the new one breaking

It'll be fine, but first gear does eventually wear out on those.
