revo 3.3 to e revo

I have a revo 3.3 and was wondering if there is an advantage to converting to brushless setup or would it be better to buy an e revo more importantly how do i get started and would it outrun my stampede vxl

It would be hard to convert. With the E-Revo, it has a place for the batteries, and it is lighter. As for outrunning the the Stampede VXL, it would be possible depending on what motor you bought, and the batteries you're using.

You are better off to just buy the ERevo brushless edition and sell your nitro Revo. It is cheaper that way.
