revo 3.3 piston and con rods?

hi, i have been given a trx3.3 engine but the con rod is snapped? would it be a simple new one in it or does the piston and liner need changing to?
want to rebuild it if possible and keep it as a spare engine, where is the cheapest place i can get these parts from? thanks

Take it apart and inspect the piston/sleeve for damage. 9 times out of 10, when the con-rod breaks, it usually damages the piston or sleeve or both. If you don't see any nicks/dings in either, then check the crank case for any cracks. If it all checks out, then it should be fine to just replace the con-rod.

id trade it in on a brand new 3.3 if you want an engine, the bearings are probably going to need replaced, the rod, piston, and sleeve will need replaced...
