I have a revo 3.3 nitro that I want to convert to brushless, could someone list off what I’m gonna need, cause I tried looking up conversion kits and apparently they don’t sell a kit with everything included and I have no idea what kind of motor I need to get. I found the motor mount kit, but I don’t know what motor and transmission I should be looking for, or even if I need a new transmission or not.
thanks in advance, it’s appreciated!

You will most likely need a battery tray, a brush less motor and ESC, ESC programming. A 32 pitch pinion gear for the motor, assume you already have the new mount, I don't think you need a new transmission.

I would say something like EZRUN Max8 Waterproof matching motor and programming card. I am not big on electric, you can ask the other forum for better advise.

You will not need new trans but if you don't want to use the shifting servo for forward and reverse you will have to pull transmission and lock it there are videos on YouTube how to lock it. I just converted mine put 4s batteries in it and its stupid fast I didn't lock the trans so it still has the 2 speed so awesome

Thanks! What kind of motor do you think I should get?
I did the goolrc S3674 set up I'm happy with it but wished I went with a brushless sensored motor and esc if you want good quality go with a castle set up 1515 or 1717 motor its expensive but worth it

Yeah I installed the forward only conversion kit on my nitro already so I dont have the reverse any more.

You refer to these different motors as setups, does that mean there is going to be a difference in say, where the output shaft will be per motor indicating that there is like separate mounts for each motors installation?

Ahh I see. I'm probably not gonna be upgrading my revo immediately, I'm just gathering any info on what's all involved with the conversion and give myself time to hear from different people or find reviews of the various parts that are available for the conversion instead of rushing into it and realize too late that I chose a crap motor or something.

Lol no worries just FYI I'm glad I converted mine dont get me wrong I still enjoy nitro but now there are no aches and pains that comes with nitro. Nitros can be a pain in the a$$ especially if not broke in properly. The motor mount you can get on ebay specifically made for the revo 3.3 thats where I got mine. I'm very happy with mine.
