I just broke-in my Revo 3.3 and wanted to test it on a few small jumps. I jumped it over my rounded street curb. The thing fliped onto its top and then rolled over back onto its wheels. This happend each time I jumped the curb.

It seems like it is top heavy or the front shocks are too soft. I wanted to see if anyone else had this issue or advise on correcting the issue before I started to tweek things.

I'm not sure if it will help but I had to adjust my preload allmost all the way on the rear and about half way on front. Then I dumped the stock 30 wt and put in 60 and it helped me stay level both on jumps and in turns. I'm still pretty new so its been a lot of trial and error. You might also try loading up at the bottom of the jump and stay in the throttle a little while in the air. It helps kep the nose up.

are you hitting the brakes while your in the air?

no.. If i gas it, it tends to stay up some, but it just seem really heavy in the front end. much different than my nitro sport.

It's not a 2wd stadium truck!lol
Revos are really twitchy in the air, you'll get used to it. Keep practicing your jumps. You only need to use the brakes in the air for bringing the nose of the truck down.
Steady throttle to the jump, no brakes. You may have to stay on the gas to get it to fly level. The thicker shock fluid will help too.

Thanks... All is good now. Turned out the biggest problem was the curb itself. The back tires were hitting it funny which caused the front end to drop down. I built a jump ramp and the Revo did great. It did take a bit to get used too.

yeah i dot that in my maxx alot its fun to do nose wheelies into the grass at about 30 so be carefull you might break you're back shocks from the impact on the jump though

Glad to see you found your problem if it happens again, another thing to look at is make sure your brakes aren't dragging cause that would give you the same persistent issue.
