Got a revo with OS .18 changing to Picco .26 max i thought this was a drop in the first thing i see is the offna motor mount # 51531 is crap it has no slot in it for adjusting the mesh between the clutch bell and the spur gears ??? also it is a thin cast alum. part is there another mount that is made from machined alum. {that has a adjustment it would be stronger and let you use different gears} .... BLA BLA BLA that was my main question . anyway i have had this for over a week still havent seen it run yet i have a 15t clutch bell and a 36t spur gear when you try to adjust it is very tight between the two you should have the clearance of a sheet of notebook paper not on this one !!! any advice what have the rest of you guys done to make this work ???:constipat:constipat

I use the Ofna mount and I run 16t spur gear with 36t and 38t spur gears, I never tried the 15t due to wanting a little bit more of a higher gear. I had to work with mine a bit to get the mesh that I wanted. You could also try shimming the transmission or motor mount. If you are looking for a different mount New Era has one that you may like here is the link --> Revo .21 engine conversion I know it says .21 engine conversion but it will work fine with the Picco read the info on the page.

Engine Mount

Thanks so mutch for your help not even the local hobby stores could help me with this once again THANKS:bow:

Clutch / Spur Gear Nightmare

The mesh is great room for 36t , 38t , ect. with New Era Mount REV118P, But there is not enough adjustment front to rear of the engine itself. And tranny is in fixed pos. Problem is the clutch gear is touching the slipper pads.... Just had to run it so about 4 tanks broke Steel spur gear all slipper assm. Toast !!! So how can i get more room between tranny spur and clutch bell spur ???:duff:

How close is your flywheel to the crank case? You can try grinding down the back of the collet to gain a mm or two. This will move the flywheel closer to the engine. I had to do that on another truck a long time ago.

What CB are you using? Traxxas? Or another company?

Clutch Bell

Traxxas 15t, And there is no room to play between engine block and flywheel but i need about 1/16" to keep the out of the slipper assm.
