Just wondering, do you turn the casing 180 degrees to reverse the way the motor turns in forward? Or is it like 90 or something?

I found a couple old motors I had in a USA1 electric and I seem to remember one engine had to be adjusted to make it turn the opposite direction...

thanks

Turn it 180 degrees. It's basically the same as hooking the wires up backwards. I'm sure that there's a reason why it's better to turn the endbell around, I just don't know what that reason is.

I actually tried turning the wires around and the engine still went the same way  so maybe some do and some don't....

Anyhow, thanks!
