Does the Savage 25 RTR come with it or not? Yea I seen were hpi
website says optional reverse module for transmission, but way have the three channel radio and not have reverse, just don't make cents but it could make hpi some dollars. LOL:alarm:   :help:

Reverse module has been an option and I'll go out on a limb here and say it probably still is because some do not want it. The radio is a three channel so it will accomidate the reverse if you opt to install it.

Persionally I see no reason to have a reverse in an RC. I look at it like an OOPS option. I dont have revers in either of my nitro rides and to be honest I dont miss it at all. My electrics all have reverse and other then being able to do some kool tricks theres no reason to have reverse in them either.

ok no it does not come with reverse . Hpi staff told me so, well does the reverse module for the savage 21 work with the 25? I would think so, anyone know????????
:whack: :whack: :whack: :whack:

Yes it will work but rember if you added it. it will add more weight and could slow your speed down some. Now this is just how i feel about it so dont let what i say change your mind. I have only seen 2 times that reverse would of been good. if you plan on driving in a small tight area then you might want it other than that i will say it is a waste

The reverse module is a matter of preference. All you need to decide is if you want to be able to back up or not. If not you just have to go after the truck when you can't go forward. I have one installed and don't use it much but if I need it then it's there. My preference as is anyone elses. No opinion on what should or shouldn't be installed other than that.

The reverse module will work fine with the 25. Unless the 25 has a different tranny setup

Anyhow, personally, I don't run my savage without my reverse. I love reverse. I get in trouble a lot and it gets the truck out without having to go and fetch it. I see no difference in performance with or without it. If you take it apart, it has what can be considered a clutch setup, and there's little friction when it's in forward gear. So it's not a real performance loss...it's like replacing 2 bearings for 2 bushings...you're not gonna notice it. And the weight issue, the savage weighs a ton to begin with, it's not like it equals the weight of a brick, no real diffence in weight.
