Has anyone installed the reverse kit for the REVO 5308? I just ordered one off of ebay and was wondering if there was any tips for installing one?

the only tip that i have for you is to remember where all the bearings, gears, washers and clips go, that way when you put it back together it works properly,

P.S. Don't let anyone talk you out of putting the reverse into ur rig

I'm not, I drive this thing in all sorts of places and have the need to back up a lot of the time. The mass of it installed won't hurt me either because i don't race it, just bash it, so i'm going to put it in as soon as i get it. Thanks

if you just bash it is worth it - someone took it out of my 5309 when i bought it used - and i put the system back in and it is great to have...

don't take what i said as i was being rude, becuase i really truly wasn't trying to be, i was just saying that because some people on here have tried to talk me out of having my reverse in my rig and i just continue to tell them NO for the simple fact that granted yea it adds more weight so it cuts down on the speed a little bit, but for a bashing rig, it doesn't need to go 100 mph, (IT WOULD BE SWEET) but no need for it, i have reverse on mine and i use it all the time, and as far as weight goes i am well over weight with mine.

i got one of the revo3.3 that frist came out with the revers on them and woul not take it out its saved me from waking do go get it unstuck.
