Retrofitting Buggy-style body on Nitro Sport SE chassis

The title says it all. I'm not opposed to the Nitro Sports body per se, rather I just like buggies more.

I've examined the chassis and it seems like the mounting posts are customizable. Do I have that right? Can different mounting posts be applied to this chassis, in different locations?

Sure why not. If you can make em fit....do it up. Dremel tools are your friend ;-)

Okay, so I guess the place to start is with a 1:10 scale body shell and just kinda go from there. After looking at this chassis, it just really seems like you can change so many things (shock towers, whatever.)

Loaba i think you have the right idea. with a little time and some imagination you can come up with some great inventions. if we all drove the same ole stock RC's what fun would that be. post some pics when you're done
