Thought some of you may get a kick out of the fact that I finally retired my maxx body.

Why would you retire it? Only the bed is gone. It's still good for the rest of the season.
A guy brought his brand new Revo to the track last week, and left with only the hood and front fenders still on. Compared to his, yours is in great shape.
 
I don't have any way to keep it on... at least not on well. Last time I did it without the hose clamp, it did exactly what you described. All I had left was a hood. It only takes one wipe out for that to happen.

The one I'm replaceing it with isn't any better. I don't run truck beds. To much of a pain...
 
I really like the custom paint job. Looks rustic and weathered.
Send it to me. We hang the remains of car/truck bodies on our "Wall of Shame".
 
That was my first paint job... I didn't care at all. After spending 3 days painting a body I did care on, I don't think I'll ever do it again. Just a waste of effort and time.

BTW, it's in the bottom of a garbage can with spagetti sauce on it.
