About 2 years ago I picked up a used Tamiya Lunchbox off craigslist for my daughter. I always wanted one as a kid and the price was right. First thing I did was install a hitec 645mg for steering since it was going to be crashed alot. She had a blast learning how to drive with it until all the crashing and jumping finally broke the front shock mounts late last year. I decided it was time to give it some mods.

First we needed to break it down and give it a good cleaning.

Spektrum DX2.0 TX
Spektrum Sport RX
Shocks and springs from a RC10GT
30 wt shock oil

I need to tweak the rear shocks as the spring touches the heatsink fins of the motor. After that the next step will be to get some new graphics printed on Testors Water-slide decal sheets. I've never used them before so it will be fun to try them out.

Very nice.....I can't wait to get on for my kiddos.....I am sure that little cutie of yours will LOVE IT!

Very nice! This will be a sweet rig for sure!
