Removing the Sleeve.

Put the engine in the freezer for a minimum of one hour. That will allow everything to get really cold. Have your heat gun ready as soon as you take it out, and heat the aluminum block around the sleeve quickly. Aluminum will absorb the heat before the sleeve has a chance to re-expand, and it should come out easily.
