Rediculous newbie question on shocks

HPI 3 Evo... taking apart, cleaning, rebuilding. For some reason I can't figure out how to take the shocks off. I don't want to break anything by prying. What am I missing here? Thanks!

If there is not a little hole in the ball cup..To unscrew the ball...
Just pop the cup off with a flat head screw driver..
