every time i start my rc car it revs up high then dies out. I dont know whats wrong with it. Please help. Thanks.

I took the cluch and flywheel out to see if the engine would run only but it does the same thing.

well dont do that, you need the flywheel on there....

But i would start from scratch.. Take the engine apart and seal it. Make sure you dont have any air leaks. Then re-set the carb to factory settings. It sounds too lean. Just My opinion.

Well... the biggest problem that i can see right now is that its a redcat product.
Should have done your research before you bought dropped the loot on an r/c vehicle.

There isn't anything wrong with Redcat. Watch for them to really come on strong in the next year.

As for your problem--start looking for the air leaks. If that is fine then fatten up the LSN. Something is leaning you out big time...

Thanks for all the help people i had a air leak in my gas tank then i had to tune it back to factory settings.

I just bought the Redcat Landslide, I hope they do come on strong soon, can't wait to get it.

Hey you'll be happy with the landslide, that was my first nitro. Just don't crash it, i crash mine twice, the first time due to user error, the second due to battery or out of range. Install a fail safe, i had to learn the hard way.

I have had a Redcat Tsunami truggy for about 3 weeks now with no problems. I would install a fail safe. Mine got out of range on me and took off, then it ran out of gas, saved. There are plenty of parts available online and on E-bay. Redcat is a decent brand for a very good price. Good luck.
