Red cat blackout xte.. no throttle but esc works

I bought my kids two redcat blackout xte’s. Almost immediately ran into problems. Had to replace a burned out motor after the first run using 2s lipo.. bought new motor, worked fine the first time.. second time: no throttle response. Esc is working fine. Is it the motor? Help!! No mechanic at the local hobby shops are willing to work on redcat.

recalibrate the esc...might be the motor...if you can check it with a volt meter.. many online links on how to do this..

to check motor pull motor now you need wires from motor . use a D battery to test Neg to - pos To +... does it turn ? if yes motor is working
